GI stasis after chewing an electrical cord

My little boy was diagnosed with GI stasis on 3/1 and hospitalized for 2 days. The vet said his stomach was distended with dehydrated food. He had subcutaneous fluids multiple times and had enema on 3/2 because he didn't pass any poop. The vet said he had slow heart beats and high liver and kidney functions. The ultrasound result shows no liver torsion. I told the vet that he was chewing on an electrical cord and she said it could be the cause of his cardiac arrhythmia which made him discomfortable and refused to eat. I always hide all the cords from my buns. He just got the chance to chew on a hanging cord of my hair dryer right after I used it a day before he became sick.
On 3/3 he ate a little of pellets, hays and greens. He returned home with medications. His heart beats was much more normal.
Until today he still eat little. This morning he ate all the greens and medicines. He eats hay but not a lot, about 1/4 of his normal amount. He's not very interested in pellets yet.
There are very little info online about electrocution on rabbits. Could anyone give me some suggestions about how to improve his condition? He is only 10 months old, just started to enjoy his wonderful life T___T

I don't know about the electrocution (my rabbits chewed a few electrical cords over the years because no matter how careful you are they ALWAYS find a way but none of them ever seemed to have any problem after that). On the other hand, like most old-timer rabbit owners, I unfortunately know GI stasis very well. Your rabbit eating greens first and no pellets is completely normal. Rabbits will eat pellets last after a stasis episode because it's the less beneficial food for recovery (hay will push things toward the exit, vegetables will help to moisten the content of the stomach and also contain fibers). I generally don't give them at all until the poop looks about normal in size and quantity. Your rabbit has only be back home for a few days and he went through quite an ordeal, so what you are describing sounds normal to me. Make sure he is properly hydrated and keep a close eye on the litterbox and hay intake. Complete recovery from a stasis episode can take one or even two weeks.

thank you so much for your suggestion!! I saw him thru the camera, he was eating hay! His poops are still small, i hope he will get back to his normal self soon
my other bun went thru GI stasis last year. She ate and pooped normally the next day after she got her subcutaneous fluid and medications. But this little boy took so long I started to worry

That's great! He should be alright in no time. Some rabbits recover faster than others. I've had rabbits that begin to eat hay and act pretty normally as soon as the guts start again and that the Metacam kicks in whereas some rabbits take days to show signs of improvement...
