Hello,
My bunny has some sores, she is losing her fur where they are, and it is getting worse. We don't know what to do. My dad won't let us take it to the vet. Does anyone know what is wrong with this bunny. She is in a cage with a much larger bunny, are they just fighting and need to be separated? We were told this bunny is a female and we are not sure about the other one, could she be pregnant?

First things first, if you're not sure of the genders of both buns, you need to have them separated, or they WILL breed.

I don't know what the sores could be from, however they look quite painful for the poor bun, and she really needs to see a vet. What do you mean, your dad won't let you take her to the vet? You can't really expect to care for a pet properly if you're going to refuse it medical care.

If the bunnies aren't properly bonded to each other, fighting is likely going to occur between them. Again, separating and slowly introducing using a bonding guide would be the best option.

Finally, is that cage their home? It looks quite small and uncomfortable, particularly the grated bottom - that could be causing very sore hocks for the rabbits.

Yes, those sores look to be bite wounds and fur pulling from the other rabbit. It could be from dominance/hormonal behavior or it could be from actual fighting. Either way you need to separate both rabbits so they have their own cages/pens immediately, before a more serious injury occurs, one that could even be fatal.

With regards to the bite wounds, they will need to be treated by a vet if any are deep and/or infected. The wounds will need to be monitored for any signs of infection starting and they may need treatment with antibiotics. The best thing is for this rabbit to be checked and treated by a vet.

If your rabbits are older than 3-4 months and one is male and the other female, then yes the female could certainly be pregnant.

eta: Just a note to add to what Pani has said: if you are going to attempt to properly bond the rabbits, both need to be spayed/neutered, along with knowing how to go about properly bonding rabbits. Spaying/neutering doesn't sound like something you will be able to have done, so do not reintroduce your rabbits to each other. They need to remain separate.
