One of my three buns is very pushy with food. I have a high quality food mix but she picks things out and when she cannot find any she likes she digs in the food bowl dish. I changed over to just regular pellets and she still digs thinking there are her treats in there.... Sadly her other two friends suffer and cannot have the quality food mix because it ends up going everywhere from her digging... any tips

The food mixes are bad for bunnies anyways usually (if they do get pellets, it should be just timothy pellets, and very few if they are adults). So I wouldn't worry about your other buns not getting the "junk food" in the pellets- it's probably healthier!

:yeahthat:

The "gourmet" mixes are junk food. Rabbits should not be eating seeds, corn, etc. The high quality pellets are plain and have no colorful bits added in.

Here is a guide to choosing a good pellet.

I buy national geographic and most stuff is dehydrated not the junk corn mix

And only 1/4 cup of pellets per 5 pounds of rabbit. They should really be only a minority of the rabbit's diet. Most of the diet should be hay anyway - a mound of hay roughly the size of each rabbit.
