Hi everyone

My rabbit baci has been sneezing a lot these past couple of hours. There is nothing come out of his nose and he seems normal otherwise. Still eating and drinking and playing. But his sneezes are so loud! It almost sounds like a cough, but it's definitely a sneeze. He's shedding HEAVILY.. Can his sneezing be fur getting in his nose?? Or is something wrong?? Please help, I'm getting really worried.

As long as there is no discharge I wouldn't panick just yet :). It can be a bit of hair in his nose if his fur is very fine (I once had a cross lop-lion head and his fur was very silky and fine and it stuck EVERYWHERE, I myself often had some in my nose or mouth and it used to clog my computer's ventilation system everytime he molted). You can run slightly wet hands on him to help him getting rid of the excess of dead hair. I know sometimes it isn't that easy - Tybalt can't stand people tugging at his hair and I have to trick him to remove every single small strand.
It can also be the hay if it's a bit dusty or the litter (what are you using?). He might also be a bit sensitive to pollen (my rabbits don't, but my dog is sneezing all the time these days).
Just keep an eye and him. If it continues, it might be a good idea to see a vet to check there is nothing stuck in his nose to avoid it from getting infected.
I know it's hard not to go "Oh my god, he's going to DIE" everytime one of our rabbits does something strange : it happens to me like once a month... (I have to say I find having a dog very refreshing on the front - he sneezes and I'm like "whatever, must be pollen" XD)

I would definitely keep an eye on him. My bun started to sneeze in November, no discharge and acting normal. I took him to the vet in November and he had an abscessed tooth. He continued to sneeze and cough. Found out in April that he has pneumonia and he is still on medicine for it. Coughing and sneezing has decreased but its still there. If it continues I would take him to the vet asap.
