My bun eats, drinks, plays etc as normal. However he does lie down often with his head flat to the ground. Either on his stomach with his legs stretched out or slightly on his side with his head facing to the side he is slightly turned on and his head is to the ground. Usually he rests his head on his front legs or just on the ground itself.
Besides that, he switches it up between all the other usual positions of relaxing.
Is it possible that he is ill, depressed or is it normal? And what are the signs to look for if he is ill or depressed?
Thanks a lot in advance!

That sounds like normal bunny flopping to me. My bunnies flop more when it's warm. How warm is it in your house?

What time of day is this? My bun does this off and on from about 10AM to 5PM. Moreso as he has gotten older. My guy is almost 7.

Yes that is around the time that he does this

MaryAnne makes a good point. Remember, rabbits are crepuscular animals. That means they are most active at dawn and dusk and mostly just relax and laze about the rest of the time.
