Hello, my daughter is doing a science project on bunny socialization. She was wondering if bunnies prefer human owners of the same sex (as the bunny) or that of the opposite sex? And if there is any information on the web on this topic, because I can't seem to find any :( Thank you!!!!
 
I'm not too sure, but my bucks love me more than the does :)

I guess it really depends on the rabbit. Spayed/ neutered bunnies may also be different to bunnies who are not.

I have no evidence, its just my opinion :)
 
Really depends on the rabbit. I've had does that really like me, and bucks. Though I have heard of homes where the rabbit seems to prefer the owner of the opposite sex.

I have does who like me best and don't like males and have bucks who like males, bucks that like me (I'm a female)

It all depends on the rabbit :)
 
My Butterscotch (male) absolutely loves me, Pippi (female) loves my boyfriend (I think she's trying to steal him), and Ellie (female), is my brother's best pal. so out of my rabbits, it seems to be the case. :)
