My husband and I were talking about going on a cruise to Europe after our son graduates. He would come with us and we would want to take our rabbit Tenoch. What are the restrictions and requirements to take him? I saw something about quarantine for 6 months!!! Is that true? He is my second son so this would be a no go! Any help would be great!

Thank you.

It will probably depend on which countries you would be going through and whether you would be taking the rabbit with you off the ship or not. Different countries will have different requirements. Have you checked if the cruise companies even allow rabbits on board?

From my experience with the U. K. you would want to have a microchip and a clean bill of health minimum, but again it all depends on where you're going.

This is not a good idea at all.
Not only for restrictions because youre leaving a country and going from country to country and the paperwork involved between each country will be insane.... (it would be different if you were moving once and thats it)
But the bugs your rabbit could pick up. Lack of veterinary services when something happens.
Missing the entire point of a cruise if youre bringing your rabbit.....
Just leave your pets at home
