Hey guys I found a local breeder that sells silver fox rabbits from 30-50 dollars and I was just wondering about their temperament and what things are showable and not showable thx :)

In my area Silver Fox's are not very common so I don't know much about them. I read this online: The temperament of these rabbits is very gentle, and they have been called the Teddy Bear of the commercial type of rabbits. It's easy to handle them, and they like attention, so they are a good choice for 4H members and other kids to raise. . .

I've also heard from other people that they are a very calm breed :)

Here's some pics from my standard of perfection that can hopefully answer your question about showing but if you have any specific questions I can answer them :)

This is a different breeder that has this rabbit but it's a pure bred silver fox doe with a pedigree for 60 dollars should I get herImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1405047538.894866.jpg

And this was the first breeders rabbit for 30 dollarsImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1405047642.538546.jpgImageUploadedByRabbit Forum1405047655.552658.jpg

The breed's temperament sounds great and they are so pretty, I want one!!

Right now I think it would be between the blacks. I dont like the blues top line and it hard to say at this age if it will get better (lacks depth and may be chopped in the hindquarters). The babies are much too young though to be buying for show. I would ask the first breeder if she has anything older for sale?
