W:shock:W!!

We let the Girls out yesterday and everything wasfine. Tonight Jeremy saw Hopi mounting Christa's head:shock:. He ranover and broke it up. He said mom Hopi smells bad. He brought her overand guess what. Yup, Flip her to see where that musky smell is comingfrom and there are Man Parts:shock::shock:. Them things came out ofnowhere.

So now Christa is in her cage and Hopi gets to stay in thebathroom until I can pick up a cage tomorrow. Talk aboutshocked. Usually I am prettty good at this sexing thing...orso I thought.

So once the ummm couple are spayed and neutered we shall try and introduce them and try and bond them again.

I am just in shock ya'll. Them things were not there last nightand the way he was flopped I had a good view. Yikes!!

Oh I'm sorry - honestly - but I'm ROFLOLhere. Yes, those man things do seem to appear quite suddenlyand my boys would be getting along one minute and then the next minutethey were ready to kill each other and they had a musky smell and I wasin shock at how fast it happened.

I'm sorry for y'all about this - but I know you'll handle itwell. My concern is Apollo - because as patient as Tiny is -he can't stand unneutered males once they start giving off that muskyscent...

Peg, Apollo and Hopi were grooming eachother through Apollo's cage last night. Curious what to see whattommorow brings.

FreddysMom, I amjust .I W:shock:W can't believe it.With Apollo I knew itwas only a mater of time before they dropped because I could see wherethey were going to be. This was clear out of the blue.PoorFreddy is just a late bloomer.

Oh Tina...I really don't mean to laugh, but I'vehad the same experience. LMBO For me it was Sageand Daisy. I was so sure Sage was a girl when I brought himhome. They loved each other instantly, I wonderwhy? Anyway, the next day, I see Sage humping Daisy'shead. They both were too young to breed, but boy did I feellike an idiot when I went to work and told the story. I hadan employee who I taught to sex bunnies offer to give me a refresherbecause I don't do it much at work. LOL

Jen

:shock:MG!!!I can't believeit! Well, I guess it is pretty common because we were callingSnuggy 'Mr.Snuggles'before we found out she was agirl! Same thing happened with Toby! The petstoretold us that he was a 'she'. Are you changing her name, ornot?

I don't know whether to scream, laugh orcry. I have checked them so many times because I know I can never takethe chance of Christa getting pregnant because she carries the doubledwarf gene.

I am just floored I could be so way off with her, I mean him.Thank goodness Jeremy noticed what was going on. I am hoping andpraying that he didn't find the right end. I am soooo mad at myself.

I am scared to death. I am hoping and praying Christa isn'tpregnant. I swore I would never ever put her or kits through this. I'mgoing to cry again. I feel awful. If she is pregnant, I will do all Ican for her and the little ones. If not then guess who's getting spayedin August. Hopi is going in hopefully sooner for his neuter.

Jen, that was cute thank you. Refresher course lmbo.

Amy, I'm hoping we found out soon enough.

Ally, so you know how shocked I am huh? W:shock:W.

Gypsy, what are you sorry for, you didn't do anything. We bothmade a mistake. We did the best we could and boy did Hopi surprise usboth.:shock:I'm wondering Dale did take her in for tatsex change. Maybe that's what that day long lay over was allabout.

Carolyn, thank you so much. You and I are praying the same thing.

Fluffy, thank you for praying also. I was really surprised.

Stanleysmom, I think I am just to keep his name the same. Heknows his name and responds to it and it's the kind of name that suitsa boy or a girl.

Tina

Christa and Hopi are 13 weeks old. So I am hoping they are a bit too young for it take. I'm hoping.

IF she is pregnant we will do everything in our power to help Christa and the little ones. I just feel so awful.

Poor Dale thought I was going to rehome Hopi:shock:. I said Noof course not. We'll get him neutered. He is home and he's not goinganywhere. Siily Dale.:p

Tina

I got a big surprise last week! Caliis now Caligula!!!! She...errrrr, he was very sick when I gothim in November (worms & respitory infection). Guessthat's why it took this long to "show" his stuff!! It's goodfor me!! Cheaper to neuter than spay!

Isn't that just the truth.

It has been a wild 24 hours.

Dootsmom, wow, I know the shock. Really crazy.

Tina

Oh, Tina, I can't believe it. At first I thought'how funny', then I realised that Christa could be pregnant, and I ampraying she isn't. Poor Dale, thinking you were going to re-homehis Hopi. I guess you can't refer to them as 'the Girls'anymore :?
