Big Tummy

My boyfriend called me today asking about a friends bunnies...I guess someone in the apartment she lives in had bunnies and was giving them away. The person told her she had to take 2 because a single one will get lonley and die.:?...and second I guess they are very small and one seems normal but the other one has a really big tummy and is all squishy but the rest of it is all skinny and boney...I had no idea what that could be from...Any Ideas???

I'm going to have to go over and probably sex them becuase they dont know what they are...lets hope they arnt brother and sister....:?

well if they are male and female the female may be pregnant, or it could be bloat, which is not good either.

he said they were really small, so im thinking they are only like a month old or something. Hopefully it isnt pregnant...What is bloat and anything you can do for it?

yea...worms is what I thought of, but wouldnt both have it? and how do you treat it? Vet? over the counter meds?

Maybe it's got gas and is bloated from it.

I think its treated by the vet not sure not had to deal with it before

If the squishy sounds watery and roily, it might be indicative of a severe gastro-intestinal problem reguiring a veterinarian's attention ASAP.
