If he has a flare-up you should call the vet. I don't know what the treatment would be but this was the advice my vet gave me after the first vaccines. He said there is a medication that they would give in case that happened. It wouldn't be an emergency, but it should be taken care of.

You should do some imaging tests (an ultrasound and/or an X ray) so you can find out what is happening in his tummy. It is also possible that lump is an abscess. The treatment is very different between these three conditions so you really need to find out what is happening inside. The weight...

Nevermind, she just let a nice pile of poop in her litterbox. I still think she should go see the vet since it is way less than what she usually did, but I have to see how I can convince my parents to give me that 2 hour ride.
