    Small Breeds

As others have said the netherland dwarfs are NOT calm or sedate. They are very active and spunky. They love to run around, investigate stuff and do their own thing. They will let you pet them but they don't usually like being held. I love them. I think they're really fun and they are low...

    Ugh Litter Box Training

What I did was place a few of those box tops that you find on say boxes of tomatoes etc and put hay in one end and left the other end alone and put some of her poop and rubbed some soiled hay on the end we wanted her to go in and she eventually chose one and we limited her to that area for a...

    Therapy Rabbits in Training

Thats awesome. I can attest to the fact that animals in general can be great therapy but since I don't really like large animals(idk why) and I love rabbits they do just relieve stress and make you happier. I miss my bunnies

Anyone leave their rabbit out at night?

When I had my holland lop and neth dwarf we left them out at night probably after like 4wks of owning them. We put up boxes to block the bedroomm(it was an efficiency) and the bathroom and they both seemed to get that those were no go zones. They were more well behaved when we slept than...

    Rabbit chewing question?

My rabbits both loved beer bottle caps and would push them around with their noses and pick them up and carry them around, that and a small non treated wicker ball stuffed with hay. I bought chew blocks etc and they would never touch them and almost seemed to be offended by them lol...

Oh ok yea I can imagine if it doesn't have the guard hairs its a pain but from all I've seen most jerseys have a lot of guard hairs and are the easier of the longer hair rabbits to care for as long as you do brush them and its easier once they mature which mine has already done:) I'm a guy so...
