Does this look like it could possibly be mites?
I couldn't get very good photos as she doesn't like to be held at the best of times!
She has this dandruff on the head and ears and under ears but no where else on the body as far as I can tell. There aren't any bald spots apart from fur a bit...
Thank you these are really helpful suggestions, I will definitely try them!
I had Stella in the main room for a year before I got Oreo. So maybe she was just being territorial still. I'm just doing some small sessions over the weekend as I also found a nick on Oreo and I want to make sure it's...
They were not in the neutral space no, they were in the together pen as I thought they were bonded and ready to be together.
I think I went too quickly you're right, as they were getting on so well.
I separated them as her ear was a little bit bleeding so I didn't want anything to happen again...
I've had a female bunny for a year. I just got a new male bunny a month ago. I've been slowly bonding them in a neutral space and everything seems to have gone really well. Their pens were side by side in the main room and then I took them through to another room to bond.
Stella was a little...
Thankfully she seems to be on the way back to her old self. I have given her a small amount of pellets and she's been eating hay and drinking. She's been running about like usual and although her poops aren't totally right yet, I've just noticed a few normal ones in the tray this afternoon ☺️...
Update for anyone else who comes across similar problem:
The vet prescribed antibiotic baytril as a precaution. She checked her and no teeth spurs, no issues that seemed apparent so she considered if there was an infection.
I have just got another rabbit a week ago from a rescue she thought it...
Thank you for your help.
I think you're right about something being not quite right that I gave her. I will make doubly sure everything is ok before I give her it next time.
She's just had a big drink of water and is now eating pellets she wouldn't eat this morning.
No, she hasn't produced any normal poops in a while. They have been oddly shaped in the past day and a couple had fur in them so I brushed her yesterday and this morning.
She's had fresh veggies but the lettuce leaf I gave her yesterday she's never had before. I thought ok as just red lettuce...
I'm currently awaiting my vet calling me back but meantime can anyone help what I should do meantime?? Stella not eating and this is her poop :( she's eaten a tiny bit of lettuce and dandilion root but nothing else this morning. She was sitting funny but is now hopping about - I'm worried about...
Ok so she's just peed in another area of carpet away from this original place. I don't really know what to do, should I keep her in the pen?
I want her to be able to free roam my house but can't if she's going to pee everywhere!
It's totally my fault, I thought she was litter trained since she...
Thanks so much for this! I think it's my fault as I didn't notice the first time she peed there as the carpet is dark and it wasn't very much.
I will try these tips and hopefully will work. Thanks again.
My bunny is 1 years old, I've had her for 5 weeks. She has a litter tray in her pen which she uses fine, sometimes poops outside it but generally uses it and uses it always for peeing.
Outside of her pen she is allowed in the rest of the room. She didn't pee anywhere else the first 2 weeks I...
Haha she eats them and then falls back asleep and it's like she can't be bothered to eat the rest!
Oh that's good to know haha! That's the same as Stella she just loves this one particular cushion. She's licked a couple others but that one is her favourite 🤣
