Our rabbits live outside in hutches that havebuilt in runs. These are on the patio on paving flags. We also have afolding run without a base that we move around the lawn and they getturns in that. They are very happy out there together and we wouldnever keep rabbits inside again. Every night we...

Will rabbits and guinea pigs go happily together?

Fudge and Treacle lived very happily togetherfor years. The worst that happened was Fudge got fat, and Treacle hadthe fur preened to the point of being bald in between his eyes, and helooked rather odd. They were seperated until it grew back and the habitwas broken. This was while they were at...

Great news you are getting a rabbit. Yes theylive very well with Guinea pigs, the only problem Treacle had when hewas kept with Fudge was that Fudge ate all the food and got really fat.

I Can't Find Sherry! (Um, Nevermind!!)

This reminds me of the day when we found outthat our back garden was not as bunny tight as we thought. We were sopleased when Liquorice decided to return after an hour looking none andthe worse and wondering what all the fuss was about. Worth posting tomake sure others don't have to go through this.

    Leo almost died today

Glad your rabbit survived, sounds like you didthe least worst thing. I used to let our Lionhead run around the"rabbit proof" back garden while I worked on her hutch, but not aftershe got out and it took an hour to find and catch her and all the timewith a very good chance of her being killed.

    Sore eyes

The vet was pleased with Treacles improvementbut did not flush his ducts. She wants him to have another week oftreatment and then have him in to file the spurs on his teeth and flushhis ducts. She reckons that at his age and considering his generalhealth , which is good, he would stand a 99 to...
