Poor Tobie, he doesn't feel good :( He's had some diarrhea tonight and is just sitting in the corner of his cage. He's eaten some veggies and a bit of pellets and hay, though. I gave him his Metacam, he has a 7 day supply of it. Hopefully tomorrow he will not be so miserable!

Thanks, Pup :) The vet called to say Tobie is waking up from the anesthesia and the surgeries went well! She said the tissue around the tumor looked normal and the neuter went fine. We will get the pathology report next week and find out if the tumor is cancerous or what. He will come home...

Each bunny is different. I never saw my first rabbit flat out asleep at any time during his 7 years of life. He would doze a little sometimes but not while lying down, he would do it in the loafing position and would open his eyes at the slightest sound and often wouldn't even have his eyes...

We just got back from his appointment, the doctor got a sample of skin cells, looked at them under the microscope, and confirmed that it's a tumor :( She kept him there at the clinic so she can do surgery to remove it, he's going to get neutered as well. Please wish Tobie luck!
