    I think i have peanuts

No tail? If there's no wound, just a flat out missing tail, then it's a Hippo. Sounds like one to me, and looks like one as well. Odd that it's alive, however. I think I've only ever had one born alive... But I've mostly culled all of the carriers. They were from the old program, and I don't...

broken or not...that is the question. LOL

Any kind of "shaded" color makes it tricky. I'd say the lighter coat is probably the coat that's molted in, yes? She's an agouti, so a lot of the "white" spots are where they should be white anyway. Like the chest, bars on the feet and ears. I'd really like to see this animal in better lighting.

    What breed am I?

Looks sable marten in one pic, almost smoke in another. Take a look at these two rabbits, and that'll be your answer: Sable Marten http://dreamweaverrabbitry.webs.com/IMG_5328.JPG Smoke Pearl Marten http://www.riddlesbunnybarn.com/images/gunsmoke4.9.jpg

Example of why stricter laws are being pushed...

The image is not that special. Just a doe straining in a corner of a cage that's on the ground. Hailey, you know I enjoy you and consider you an acquaintance, I'm sorry to see you selling out of NDs, Tina and I had planned on bringing some stock up to you in the fall. (Actually, had you made...

    Britannia Petite Trio! :D

Yeah, I know the background sucks. XD My grooming table is about 30 minutes away at a friend's house, so i had to find a flat spot for a carpet, and naturally it was against brown and green. LOL. I'm on the Brit page. :) The order I posted them is the order in which I'd place them. I'm...

    Britannia Petite Trio! :D

Brand new trio, and first time messing around with them, so forgive my posing. P: I've been dying to get my hands on this breed for almost a year, finally found a semi-local trio in the color I wanted. Doe 2 is bred to the breeder's black otter buck, and I'll breed doe 1 to either the chestnut...

How did you name your rabbitry?

Shaded Night Rabbitry. Shaded came from the colors I started with, sable point and siamese sable. Night just because it sounded right with it, and I had a doodle of a night setting for a logo. A few months back I made a merge with my rabbit mom's rabbitry, and we'll be Smokin Night's. :)...

Frostie/Ermine/Pearl. Those all mean the same color. :) It's a pain that arba and the BRC didn't co-op and get ARBA to use the same darn terms for every breed. Makes it a pain. Plus I'm more used to BRC terms, since I use a lot of those "weird, big" words that they use as titles for some of the...

Two broken chestnuts, two broken fawns, and a frosty are what I see. (Frosty has a few different names between the breeds, and I'm far too lazy to find my standard. P:) The first is definitely a blue chin (or, squirrel, in my breed.)

    Otter SR ND Buck Critique

His ears are his worst feature. P: Thin, long, pointed, lack furring. Haven't ever had them called bowed (perhaps I haven't noticed since they're nicer then the bowed shaded ears), but it doens't surprise me. XD

    Just for giggles. :)

FINALLY! Our search is over! :-)

The cool thing about lop breeds is that, unless they have a serious color DQ (white undercoat? or perhaps an easily recognizable unrecognized color), then you're pretty much golden. :)

    Starting a rabbitry!

I rather enjoyed my satins. Only problem is they have less of a yield for their wool, since it's thinner. But if I had the space at the time, I would have kept them. Absolutely stunning when in coat. And probably the easiest to care for, grooming wise. I rarely needed anything stronger then a...

    Velvet Lions? Really??

pamnock wrote: Right there with you. They'd be decently pretty with a full mane. As a response to other's replies; I'm well aware of the problems the lionhead breed has faced. I've been watching over the years. It's comparable to the frustrations any COD holders have to go through. If I...
