    Hello there Cole's mommy

I use cilantro and parsely for treats. also give KayTee baked timothy hay and apple "cookies". They are hard and good for grinding the teeth. Echinacea and dandelion leaves are also healthy treats that they love.

    Rabbit Vs Brother

cut a small hole in cardboard box that is big enough for you bunny to move around in once he/she has chewed the hole bigger. Mine love "carving up' cardboard boxes to their own liking. They then play with them for awhile. When the box is mostly destroyed I replace it. Save old paper towel...

    tuffs of standing hair

My dutch has ragged tuffs of hair standing straight up just in front of the ears. She does not have ear mites or other fleas, lice. She is doing well, but looks off with the standing hair on top of her head and some on her back.

    Litter pellets

I use Critter Litter in their litter boxes that have raised grates over it to prevent them having contact with it. It is very absorbent and very effective when it comes to fresh smelling. I order it on line from amazon. It is half the price they charge in a pet store. Sandee

My dutch is a female. I took note that her former care person had given her a hand full plus of dried Papaya. She was totally anxious to have more, more, and more when I would give her just a few (4) each morning. Also found that the second ingredient on her old pellets (which I was still...

    Litter pellets

I use Kaytee Critter Litter. All my litter boxes have raised grates to keep my bunnies from contacting the litter and excrement. This is the only place I use a wire grid. They seem to like to sit on them after eating. There are no bad smells. The rest of the area is insulted flooring, or...

    Clooky and Lukca in Wisconsin

your two bonded pairs are so cute! My two have bonded so well. They each have their own hutch inside the garage in special area which has a bunny door out into a 13' X 18' yard/garden planted just for them. Out there we made a low shelter which they dug out more and added tunnels that allow...

    What is happening?

Clooky is still pulling grass and leaving it in two different places. She brought in mouthful and dropped it on the wire where they eat. can this be her hormones driving her to do this? Will she stop when the hormones filter down? please give me some advice. Sandee

    What is happening?

I heard the newborns bump against a door that can be opened in the "closed in" part of the hutch. I have never opened that door in Clooky's presence. 3 walls are solid and the entrance is 6" high. Today she continues to pull grass and had carried it to 3 different places. Not a lot in...
