    HELP!!! BABY BUNNIES!!!

Separate the buck. He may not do anything but it's better to be safe than sorry. Leave the mom and babies alone for a while. Eventually you can distract her with a treat and have someone else check on the babies. The mom will only feed them once in the early morning and once late at night...

    Keeping outdoor bunnies cool

I currently do not have rabbits but I'm looking to adopt a bonded pair in the future (probably at least a year). Since J am not able to free roam them indoors I'm building them their own house. It will be about 10x20 feet including a completely enclosed run that they will have access to in the...

What age should a puppy be introduced to a rabbit?

As soon as possible. First wear out your puppy. Take him for a walk or play with him a lot until he's tired out. Then, setup a playpen for Apollo to be in. Keep your puppy on a leash. Let them see each other for short amounts of time each day. Teach your puppy leave it. Do this by setting a...

How can I help educate people about Easter bunnies?

Easter is coming up soon and I know lots of people but baby bunnies for small children on Easter. Obviously this almost never works out. The kids mistreat the bunny, bunny becomes aggressive, kids get bored of bunny, parents have to take care of the bunny, then the bunny is either neglected or...

    Traveling with two rabbits

We might move. Not sure yet on the timing or if that will even happen. If it happens soon I'll wait to get them fixed, if not then I'll get them fixed and litter train them first. Sorry for all the confusion, I'm not entirely sure what will happen myself.

    Traveling with two rabbits

Read this first https://www.rabbitsonline.net/threads/neglected-rabbits-in-need-of-rescue.100250/ We're going to see them soon and I'm going to get some info on them and try to adopt them if I can. If I cannot do it that time I'll contact the local humane society and they may take them. If...

    Fostering Rabbits is tough

I'm sorry, it's hard to let someone go who you care so much about. I would give them lots of rabbit care advice though. A little kid cannot care for two rabbits, and a little hutch is not suitable for them to live in. Maybe you could offer them some info on rabbit and like...

Neglected Rabbit's in Need of Rescue

We're going back there in February. Do y'all have any tips to help rescue them? I really want to adopt them too

    Outdoor Enclosures

After looking at tons of photos I think it'll look something like this. A big room with big windows, tons of toys and tunnels and hidey houses, with a huge (predator proof) run with eeven more tunnels and hiding spots.

    Outdoor Enclosures

Also, I'm homeschooled so I'll be able to spend lots of time with them. And they can free roam in my room while I'm working on school work. I'll spoil them 😁

    Outdoor Enclosures

Thanks for all the great advice! The rescue in Tampa has all their rabbits fixed, irs just the two at the RTV camp that probably aren't. I'm not even sure if I can rescue those. This won't be for a while. Not until we move and get settled in. And we still aren't sure if we're going to do that...

    Outdoor Enclosures

Thank you for all the info! I'll definitely be getting a bonded pair from a rescue. I've been keeping my eye on the Tampa rescue. There are also two south of us at an ATV and rv park. https://www.rabbitsonline.net/threads/neglected-rabbits-in-need-of-rescue.100250/ I doubt that they're...

Thank you so much! I love all the light coming in with that first one

    Outdoor Enclosures

I typically wouldn't recommend an outdoor cage because most people buy small hutches which I believe are too small, not very safe from predators, and exposed to harsh weather. Not to mention its hardest to bond. But, not everyone can keep their rabbit inside. So, I've been looking for some...

    Any other pets? :)

Me too! I'd love to get some ducks, chickens, and qauil, which is partly why I joined in the first place. I also have wild Mallards that come every spring and follow me around.
