    Thoughts on These Rabbits

The breeder has never had any teeth issues. When posed, the rabbits in the pictures have a much more bulldog appearance than when they are relaxed. The breeder is very reputable so I’m sure that they are Netherland Dwarfs. A couple are a little long in the ear, but she clearly states that and...

    Thoughts on These Rabbits

I am from Canada and the breeder is very well known so I know that the rabbits are well taken care of. They all have pedigrees. It will be quite a drive for me but I am planning to go to her rabbitry so I can see the rabbits myself. There are very few rabbit shows near me so I don show them. I...

    Thoughts on These Rabbits

I am looking at buying a few pedigreed Netherland dwarf rabbits. I was wondering what you guys thought of these rabbits. Please let me know any faults about them that you can see from the pictures. I am not for sure getting them but here are a few I am looking into.

How many babies can a Netherland Dwarf nurse>

I recently checked on the kits and they seem to have nursed. They were frantically squeaking and squirming before, but when I checked them now, they were sleeping and their bellies seemed a little rounder. They definitely didn't have ping pong bellies, but it is a start.

How many babies can a Netherland Dwarf nurse>

The first time mother has 3 kits but one is a peanut, and the other doe has 5 healthy kits.

How many babies can a Netherland Dwarf nurse>

I have a two Netherland Dwarf does that just kindled and one of the does is a first-time mother so she isn't taking care of her babies. She built a nest but isn't feeding them. I was wondering what the max number of babies that a Netherland doe can nurse is. I would like to foster the babies to...

    Undersized Mini Rex

I will get some better pictures because the previous ones make her appear larger than she actually is.

    Undersized Mini Rex

Yeah, she is molting at the moment so she has been eating a bit less but otherwise, she is in very good condition. I own many rabbits and she actually eats quite a bit for her small size. I have another pedigreed mini rex doe that is about the same age who is much larger and was a show rabbit...

    Undersized Mini Rex

I will get a weight on her as soon as I get a scale. I was going to use her for breeding but because of her size, I am probably just going to keep her as a pet. She is a very nice doe, just super tiny. Does anyone else have any experience with abnormally small rabbits?

    Undersized Mini Rex

I am in the process of getting a scale so unfortunately I don't have an exact weight, but I have attached some pictures.

    Undersized Mini Rex

I have a 10-month-old pedigree mini rex who seems very tiny compared to my other rabbits. She is smaller than my Netherland dwarfs. I was just wondering the average size for a mini rex her age. She is very healthy otherwise. I can post pics if that would help show her size.

    Can I do it?

I have successfully bonded 7 female rabbits that are currently and very happily living together. They live in a large colony space and have worked out a hierarchy between them. They are a mix of breeds from a Holland Lop, to a Netherland dwarf, to a Mini Rex.

    Help Naming New Rabbit

I just got a new rabbit and was wondering if anyone had any cute name ideas for her. She is a 5-month-old, tort, mini rex. I need a name for her pedigree and/or a barn name. Any help would be very appreciated. The names that I like for her so far are Pretty Penny and Smudge.

    Have they been fed?

if the doe has become aggressive toward the kits I think it is a good thing you took them out. You could also hold the doe still on her back and then let the kits feed and after they have full bellies you could put them in their own little box until you feed them again.
