Yeah I figured that was a good sign... :)
I've been giving them pellets too so that they're right next to each other through the mesh. They both seem more than content sat there eating! :bunnydance:
Hi again guys... They're still separate and I let them out in the garden in turns. Whilst one is in the garden I put one bun in the run. They do this thing where they chase each other up and down and around, over and over... then after about an hour they lay down next to each other (with the...
Thank you so much both of you for your help! They're as separate as I can make them which is on top of each other... I won't attempt to reintroduce them for a good few weeks then and I'll keep an eye out for all the signs.
I'll check those videos too.
I'm just praying I can get them back...
Yeah I think I saw some signs that a fight might start... Lifting their tails seems to be a sign? It's difficult to tell... I've got some thick gardening gloves and a little spray bottle of water.
Do you recommend I leave it a week or so before I try to re bond again? Yeah he seems ok so far, it only looks like a little cut and has a good scab on it so it seems to be healing.
Hey guys I'm back... unfortunately under bad circumstances. :( Peter and Benjamin had a really bad scrap and I had to separate them.
Here's the whole story so you can get a good idea.
Both bucks, both neutered, both already bonded before I adopted them, slight behavioural problems when it...
Yeah I replaced the rectangular one with a triangular one because it's the only high sided one I could find. They already have two trays. I'm tearing my hair out with it all. I'm going to have to find a way of attaching something to the wall like you said.
Hey guys. The boys are spraying over their litter tray and it's getting in the hutch. It's gotten so bad it's starting to soak the wood. So I bought them a rabbit litter tray today with the high corner. The thing is there now isn't enough space for them both to chill in there and I'm scared it...
Thank you. :)
And yeah I scatter the hay in their hutch and I add a big pile to the corner that they've chosen to snuggle and chill in (which by the way they don't poop in) Hmmmm I'll have to try that rack approach... Though they still poop everywhere in their run and they have no hay in there?
Sorry for the delayed reply, guys. I've not been very well. My buns haven't explored outside of their hutch or run yet because we need to build a new gate and mesh up some holes here and there. I'd love to see what they would have made of the snow though! They both have very thick coats and...
Thank you. :) I really am feeling so much better with so much more energy which feels fantastic!
Awww they're just so beautiful aren't they? They're so lovely natured too. They've become my absolute favourite subjects to photograph. :) They're keeping warm just fine by cuddling up to each...
Hey guys! Yeah I'm feeling soooo much better. I was out of action for a month which got me so down but my boys always cheered me up. :)
Yeah the trays are large and they can both sit in them at the same time together... I think it must be marking territory... At least they're not peeing...
I've been really ill for the past month and had to under go surgery, but I'm finally on the mend and I'm gaining my energy again. :) I have been really lucky to have my Mum helping me out with the early morning feed and helping me clean the bunnies out etc.
My boys are coming along just great...
Yeah ours has gone now also. It's seriously windy now though. I cover their run pretty much 24/7 right now but they still choose to spend the majority of their time in the hutch cuddled up!
