Daughter wanted her and made the final decision as she's going to do the rabbit raising 4h this year for her project. So either they'll be great or just pets for 4h
Yeah we didn't get her. But I did get another doe. I know she's long in the back and her front legs are weak. But Her babies were stronger than her in the front and not long. So I'm hoping these 2 will throw nice babies. If possible I'll sell them as pets either way and if they don't sell...
So I'm purchasing this Holland Doe What do you think? She's out of Styles. The last pic is my brood buck that isn't quite 4 mos yet. And what is the proper ear length for a holland I know both are a little long in the ears. Do you think they'll throw smaller eared babies because of the parents...

We've had a lionhead,Polish and Holland Lop so far. In the end I have to say I'm loving our Holland Lop buck the best. He's sweet and adventurous. Not afraid of anything. He's sweet and has never gone to nip even when our pittie nuzzles him to poop so the dog can eat his poop balls. The polish...
Baby gates between them when they first see each other are great! I have 2 female cats and a male pit bull. My pit bull will just sniff my rabbit. I think he likes to eat bunny poop way to much. He knows if he sniffs our bun he'll get him to poop. LOL! My bun decided to be friends with the dog...
Daughter decided she liked Hollands so that one was rehomed, because she couldn't show it. She went to a good home and we just sold her for what we paid. Dad said we can only have 2 rabbits unless there are babies. Then we can argue later if there are more.
Mini Rex's are a huge group at shows. Good luck and like I said learn the standard of perfection as best as you can and go to shows to see what you should look for.
Lopsofloverabbitry I am in love so far with this little boy. He's such a sweet baby when he's not peeing on your foot. LOL! He's great with my daughter and me. He likes the dog. And is just a sweetie. He purrs constantly when you give him pets.
If you are looking for a breed/show bun you need to look at that breeds standard of perfection. And look at which one is closest to the perfection. Now brood animals aren't always the prettiest of the lot but are what you want for a good mom and close to what you're looking for in that breed...

This is a good SOP for Hollands. I don't know if it's the picture but she looks a little pinched to me as well. But I'm still learning as well on Hollands.
I like 1 and 2. I wouldn't pick 3 for a show rabbit as her ears are a bit long but if you wanted to breed and she had good bone structure then I might pick her with a good buck with littler ears.
Feline Pine is great also tractor supply has the 40lb wood stove pellets for like 5.50 a bag. If he starts to get red sore spots get some preparation H and put that on his feet where it's red. Works like a charm.
