ok thanks is there a difference between the way grass bay hay looks and the way alfalfa hay looks?

i just gota bale of hay from a feed and seed place on platt springs road in south carolina. i was wondering if i can give it to the rabbits to burrow in/have for bedding. and would it be ok if they ate some of it?

well its going to be about 6 feet tall so i dont think a flip open top would work for a door.

what type of wood would you use to build a run? also what would you use to paint the wood. one more thing is how would you add a gate into it of the sides are wire?

im going to build a full time outdoor pen for my rabbits. i would like pictures and descriptions of yours. or even suggestions. a bigthing im worried about is digging. they would be on grass. if you dont have a permanent outdoor pen but you jave ideas post those as well. everything regarding...

the temps are ok i believe. i mean i have seen rabbits in snow on here and on a rare occasion does it snow here

the run wil be on grass. we are going to cutom build it.they will be permanently where they are. the pen may be moveable but i doubt it. was thinking abouy concrete but what about the rabbits feet?

if theyre pen is on the ground how do you keep them from digging out? we cannot put the fence underground. any other ideas/suggestions are appreciated

I have 1 dog 1 duck 8 rabbits (only 3 are permanent) 1 turtle 5 gold fish 5 neon tetras 1 algae eater 1 female betta 1 male betta we will probably getting another puppy here soon (the above list) plus at my dads i have 2 lab mixes 2 parakeets ok i think thats it :)
