Hey guys, I have a 6 year old broken-orange domestic bunny named Toby (Tobias). I'm look to rehome because I will be moving from Indianapolis to Boston this September and I will not be able to take him with me due to housing arrangements. This is a really tough choice, but I know he'll be...

Rabbits Needs Home In West Indianapolis, IN

An old friend of mine contacted me today and is looking to re-home her white mini rex. Her name is Lola and she is 8 months old.

    Indiana Hay

I currently buy hay bales from Crossroads Feed Barn in Brownsburg, but I'm looking to find something closer to where I am (Zionsville, Carmel area). Does anyone know of a good local supplier? I'm having trouble locating a place that'll sell 100% Timothy. The hay bales I get now are a mix and...

    Condensed Pine Pellets

I got a large bag of Condensed Pine Pellets from my local feed barn. My question is...are they safe? I've seen mixed opinions about used pine pellets. It's Guardian Horse Bedding, but they said it should do the trick. Opinions?

    Unlimited hay means how much?

A 40oz bag of Oxbow hay used to last me about 2 or 3 weeks with two buns. After a while it just got too costly, so I switched to buying hay bales. I bought my first bale this past March and didn't have to buy a new bale until the beginning of June. Granted, I give large quantities throughout the...

WAiting for the baby to arrive

From what I've gathered, most fruit-bearing tree wood is safe. Things like cedar shouldn't be used.

Dutch mix, I'm sure. Adorable, though. Love his colors.

    New Bunnies :)

I agree that they could be bonded, but I would still keep a close on them. If they are the same sex, things could turn hairy once they reach some sort of sexual maturity. We had our buns in the same cage for the first month or so that we had them, until they decided that they had had enough of...

Another issue with my white dwarf

As others have said, he is still recovering. When I had my two buns neutered, they weren't themselves for several days. It took upwards of a week for them to be comfortable enough to move around again. When it comes to putting them together, I would avoid it. My boys have been neutered for...

    Burning Incense

Thank you Myia. I figured those were the issues, just needed another opinion.

    Need help again?

It could be a false pregnancy, which aren't terribly uncommon from what I've gathered.

    Burning Incense

Before I had my two buns, I used to burn incense sticks fairly often. Since I've them, though, I haven't burned any for fear of causing them any harm. Does anyone know if burning incense would have any effect on their health? I'm mainly worried about causing respiratory problems.

    A second rabbit

What you also have to take into consideration that while a rabbit may be fine with the cat and the dog, it may not be okay with another bun. My buns act very calm around our cat, but when together, things can get a little hairy. When I got my two boys fixed, it ended up being about $500. On...

Didnt know where else to post this

As long as they are kept in a container of some kind and are not exposed to moisture, you shouldn't have to worry about them going bad or anything of that nature.
