    changing litter box a lot????

Once a MONTH? :what What magic is this?! I empty Aria's once a week and I always feel like I've left it too long.

    will this work?

His reaction to it definitely depends on his individual personality. But as a knitter, I would be concerned about this method for a number of reasons. Socks are VERY stretchy--all knitted fabric is. The sock used in the video is a fuzzy sock, so it isn't likely that the cuts will turn into runs...

Potential health issues with rabbits and pet mice?

Hello Rabbits Online! Long time no see! I'm hoping I can pick your brains about something. I'm considering getting some pet mice, and I wondered if you can predict any potential health risks to my bunny Aria from sharing a room (but not interacting with) mice. I can predict a few potential...

    Lead paint concern....

When we moved into our new apartment a couple weeks ago, Aria suddenly decided eating baseboards was a thing she wanted to do. It's a rental, so nailing up boards wasn't an option, so I used a staple gun to staple strips of cardboard over all of the exposed baseboards. I may have to replace them...

    Traveling with your Bunny

Lhucky, are you in the Philippines? I lived there for two years (I'm an American), and I came VERY close to getting a bunny while there, but decided that it wouldn't be fair to make it endure 24 hours of plane travel when I came home, especially since I didn't know where I was going to be...

    Destroying my carpet

They DEFINITELY can and will dig through the cardboard into the carpet. Source: my poor, doomed security deposit. *sigh* I find Aria only digs at the edges of the carpet, usually only in corners with some kind of shelter. So I put down something very flush, like a strip of plastic chair mat...

    No hair on her belly?

I've been meaning to ask about this same thing! Aria got spayed last April and her tummy hair still hasn't grown long, even though she went through a full molt and everything. Nice to know that's a thing that happens.

    Aria Trouble Trouble Bunny

    Hey, where'd the bunny go?

    Forgot to feed rabbit!

One day I checked Aria's waterer at bedtime (it's a two quart cat waterer so I don't have to pay a lot of attention to it), and it was bone dry. I felt AWFUL. So I pretty much know how you feel. Your bunny will probably be fine (I mean, knock wood, obviously), and boy, that terrible feeling sure...

    Are pumpkin/squash seeds okay?

Seems like they'd be pretty high fat for a bunny treat.

    Cotton getting in Trouble

All the time! When Aria feels like I've been neglecting her she causes as much trouble as possible until I sit down in one of our accustomed petting spots. Then she comes running and settles in next to me for love.

Made bunny sick by accident ....

The fact that he doesn't want a massage might be a good sign. I see a lot of accounts of buns who are usually protective of their tummies tolerating rubs when their gas is bad. I know it's almost impossible to do anything about your emotions, but you feeling stressed and guilty might stress him...

    Evil rabbit

Boy, I'm no expert, but spraying any animal in the face with vinegar seems really cruel. It's very acidic and would probably be really painful. Just thinking about the times I've sprayed orange juice in my eye and how terrible it felt.

    Anyone Spin Rabbit Fur?

Yeah, bunny fiber is very soft, but it's not as strong as wool, and it's also less elastic. In most applications people do blend it with wool, but fiber preparation is a whole different skill that involves different tools. It's not hard, though.
