just an update, i have both alfie and evie booked for the vet tomorrow to het his eye looked at and also a general check up. it’s looking a lot better! it’s clearing really well. nearly unnoticeable. he’s still acting completely fine and running around his house like a mad man. they’re getting...
yeah don’t think it’s just eye muck, he usually doesn’t get that though he is getting older and maybe that’s just an age thing. he will be 8 this year. i’ll take him to the vet tomorrow and get it checked. thanks!
oh god i hope not!! i’m in melbourne. He’s not showing any other symptoms of myxo yet but i’m watching him carefully. i have to take my dog to the vet tomorrow for his paw so i’ll bring alfie with him and get him checked. they’re a vet that also has rabbit specialists so no worry about that...
don’t think so! again he’s a rescue so i’m not sure his history but he’s been a healthy little guy for the past 3 years with no issues. thank you for the reply!
My 6ish (he's a rescue) year old male rabbit Alfie has had some sort of fluid coming out from his eye for the past 3 days. It looks to be a clear color, it's making the fur around his eye crusty and I haven't cleaned it yet because I'm anxious to make it worse. This is a photo from yesterday...

Thank you so much both of you for your quick and very helpful replies. I've got them both in sperate rooms now and I'll restart bonding in the garage when I get home. I've also sprayed light vinegar on the area and washed any thing her rabbits may have touched.
Thank you again!
Hi everyone,
