I took the little guy to the vet yesterday and he gave me some eye drops to put on the eye. I have my fingers crossed.

Thank you for your concern. I will refrain from using the Neosporin around the eyes.

I thank all three of you for your responses. Ido have other rabbits in separate cages but they are not affected with the eye problem. I have been thinking about putting Neosporin ointment on the area. With it's four anitibiotics it has never failed me with human infections.

I have a young male calico that I just bought and it has a serious eye infection. I don't know how I missed it when I bought it. Are there eye drops available or antibiotic injections that he should get? Thanks for your help.

Hello: I am very new to breeding rabbbits. I just bought 1.2 New Zealand rabbits. My question, when breeding do you leave the male with the female the entire time? I breed mice and I leave the male with the females at all times and have no problems. Thanks for your help-Dave
