    $500 for a Teddywidder?

I'm more than likely going to adopt! There's a great bunny adoption program pretty close to me that I look at frequently. Plus, I don't know if I have it in me to keep and care for two rabbits separately for months on end, get the new rabbit fixed, and have it MAYBE work out between the two...

Vet Spay Prices in Houston Area

A few years back, I posted a thread asking if anyone knew of a vet in the Houston area that would spay rabbits for a relatively low price. After a LOT of phone calls, I believe I have the spay prices for almost every rabbit-savvy vet in the Houston area, and I've compiled them all into a list...

    $500 for a Teddywidder?

My rabbit is getting spayed next month, and I'd like to bond her with another rabbit sometime this year. I'm seriously considering adopting an already fixed rabbit, but I've also been looking at rabbitries in my area. I found a Teddywidder rabbitry fairly close to me, and I would love to get one...

    Reasons not to feed hay??

Yup! All of the arguments this breeder listed seemed due to their personal preference. Oh, agreed! I don't think rabbits get everything they need from hay nutrition-wise, but to say a rabbit will starve because of hay is ridiculous, in my opinion. I don't have many problems using a litter box...

    Reasons not to feed hay??

I agree. In general, most pets are messy in some way or another. If you don't want to deal with the mess, don't get the pet. Exactly! It really makes me wonder where they were getting their hay from... I've seen rabbits get yellow feet from owners not cleaning their litter boxes often, so by...

    Reasons not to feed hay??

I go down a lot of rabbit holes on the internet, and somehow I ended up on a mini plush lop breeder in Colorado’s website. This breeder has an entire tab on their website saying why you shouldn’t feed your rabbit hay. Personally, I think the reasons are, to be frank, dumb and extremely easy...

How to dispose of hay in an apartment complex?

I have plenty of those near me, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that. Thank you!

How to dispose of hay in an apartment complex?

I buy hay in bulk, and I think it's about time I throw the bale I'm using away. They hay has gone yellow when it started as a vibrant green, and I'm also having a bug problem that I worry has contaminated the hay. The bugs got into the rabbit treats that contain mostly hay, so I can only assume...

    Under-the-bed rabbit setup

Hi! I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a rabbit-safe space for my rabbit to keep my dog away from her when I can’t supervise them together. I finished setting it up today, and I figured I’d come on here and get y’all’s thoughts and opinions :) I made it under my bed for optimal...

Where to put rabbit when I’m not home

That might work, but I’m worried my rabbit might start chewing at the wood. And I definitely would need the step for me because that would make my mattress about 32 inches off the ground lol.

Where to put rabbit when I’m not home

I just discovered that her cage is too tall to fit under the bed. If I were to go with that option, should I just get rid of the cage altogether?

Where to put rabbit when I’m not home

I free roam my rabbit in my room, but only when supervised because I have a dog that has killed one of my rabbits before. Currently, I’m trying to redecorate/organize my room and utilize my space more sufficiently. I’m trying to make a designated “rabbit area” to keep my rabbit in when I can’t...

Owner of 2 mini rabbits in need of Help!

I’m not quite sure if someone responded to this part because I did only skim through, but a high rise litter box works great for rabbits that do this! This is very similar the one I use as an example, and mine works perfectly: IRIS Open Top Litter Box with Shield & Scoop, Dark Gray - Chewy.com

I’ve never seen this coat on a rabbit before

She’s a purebred pedigreed Holland Lop, according to the post. Not sure if that adds anything for context haha.
