When to know its time // Cancer journey (RIP)

Thank you for responding! Unfortunately yesterday morning he refused his breakfast and for me that was the biggest sign it was time to let him go. I had him euthanised yesterday, just one week after we got the cancer diagnosis 💔

When to know its time // Cancer journey (RIP)

It's been a while since I was last on here but I'm in need of some advice and/or support. This past week my holland lop Dean was diagnosed with (the vet thinks liver) cancer and we have been told there are zero treatment options. The vet has told me he is no pain and he is showing no signs of...

Sudden Weight Gain and Poopy Butt

Update: Her stomach wasn't as firm to the touch this morning as it was yesterday but she did have a poopy butt again. She's off to the vet this afternoon so hopefully they can figure out whats going on.

Sudden Weight Gain and Poopy Butt

She's eating normally but has been spending more time hiding out in their shed and pen rather than exploring the garden. We recently got a dog and so I put that down to stress from the dog but evidently it may be something else. When out in the garden she's still content to graze with the others...

Sudden Weight Gain and Poopy Butt

Hey guys, I'm really worried about one of my rabbits and was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what might be wrong with her, I am planning on making a vet appointment for tomorrow but just wanted to know if others had experienced this. She's a two and a half year old flemish giant mix and...

Pet Mice In A Rabbit Shed

For most of the day, the shed is open as the rabbits are out in the garden. An alternative option would be the top level of a rabbit hutch (which the rabbits can't access) however I'm worried they would be too exposed in there?

Pet Mice In A Rabbit Shed

Hey guys, I recently got some pet mice and my parents have told me I have to either move them outside or rehome them. I obviously don't want to rehome them so am considering some options around the property for where to keep them (this would only be for around 6 weeks or so while I find a place...

    Bonding Advice Needed

each male is bonded to a female (the mum and dad and then the two kits), so would taking the two males into a new environment and attempting bonding be beneficial? They don't have to be fully bonded but just to the point where they can live together without fighting. thanks

    Bonding Advice Needed

Update : all four of them have now been fixed. We have two bucks and two does. The parents are living together in a hutch and the kits together in another. The plan is to eventually have all four living together so bonding has still been an ongoing process. The girls get along fantastic with...

    Bonding Advice Needed

I think this is the right place for this? So I have a 1 and a half year old neutered buck and a 7 month old Flemish Giant doe. These two are a bonded pair and had a litter together just over 10 weeks ago. We have two of the kits from the litter which we are keeping and planning on having all...

Two Week Old Baby Fell Down Ramp

I haven't noticed any of those symptoms, it hasn't been acting different at all. Any idea for how long it would be before we're in the clear? The door that covers the ramp is now going to be down constantly. Thanks for the help.
