I ordered a Moroccan rug that's made of real wool (not sure if it's camel or sheep) and when I brought it into my room, my bunny was terrified - he darted under my bed and wouldn't come out for hours. I thought he'd get used to it, especially when I laid down on top of it and held him, and lured...
My 1 year old lionhead/Holland lop 6ish LB rabbit ate an 81mg coated baby aspirin. His vet can’t see him today because there are other emergencies. Poison control ASCPCA said to monitor him closely. But I’m reading online I could give him charcoal pills??? He’s acting fine now but it was only an...
The lump is not visible in pics, you can only feel it- although it's quite sizable. He's just very furry so its hard to see, and he's moving around a lot so I can't get a clear pic of him regardless.
He is chomping on hay right now and drinking water normally. The first pic of feces is from about 2 hrs ago, second one of the litter box is what he produced in the last 20 min. I gave him 2 1mL doses of 20mg simethicone in the past two hrs.
This is him right now drinking water. He seems to be acting fine. He just pooped like 5 little balls. The lump is still there though.. the only rabbit savvy vet near me has an appointment at 1pm tomorrow. I snagged it. Is that too risky?
Someone please help! He's still eating but not pooping. I want to know if I should call out of work tomorrow right now and take him to the vet first thing in the AM.
I just noticed about 10 minutes ago that Hendrix's stomach is really hard, it feels almost as if there's a big ball underneath his skin. Not quite fully on his stomach, but on the side of it. I'm really worried but unsure if I should rush him to the vet right now (I'm not even sure if an...
I'm freaking out because I accidentally got Hendrix's bag of pellets all wet and I had to throw them out. There's no pet stores around me that carry rabbit supplies - only cat and dog. I placed an order on Chewy for new pellets but it says it should take 1-3 days to come. If I'm feeding him...
I finally got some clearer pics of Hendrix's hindquarters. Still not sure of his (?) gender but I think he's a boy from these pics. I also think I can feel tiny testicles under his fur but I definitely can't see them. Is it possible to tell from these pictures? Thanks so much for your help.
Yes, he's four months! He doesn't like his stomach being exposed while he's close to the ground on my lap- he prefers loafing. So I can't get him comfy enough to massage his underside without holding him up. When I push down, something definitely protrudes outward, but it looks more akin to the...
So I can't see any testicles, and when I apply pressure near the genitals nothing's really moving. But on his tummy I can definitely feel at least one tiny lump under his fur. Not sure if I can feel another one. Do does have any lumps? Is there any way to discern bucks/does in another way?
I've had Hendrix since early May- I got him when he was 7 weeks old! I've always just called him a boy, I don't know why. I didn't want to trance him to find out his real gender because I know that can be scary and dangerous for rabbits if not done by a professional. I was planning on waiting...
