Is a Netherland dwarf right for me?

Agreed with the others. There are more bunnies in rescues than there are homes for them. Which means there are many sweet, affectionate, cuddly bunnies looking for homes. Not just the "problem" animals. Many are mixed breeds, which can be just as lovely pets as purebreds. Hope that helps...

    The Rabbit Ate My...

What winter related items have your bunnies eaten/chewed? I've written a middle grade novel entitled THE RABBIT ATE MY HOMEWORK (link to book, if you're curious: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MUE1C6A/?tag=skimlinks_replacement-20). I'm planning to turn it into a series. I've got a title...

    Parking lot rabbit

OMG! Sooooo cute! And soooo glad you found her! I can't believe people are still dumping rabbits over on the Island. Haven't they figured it out yet? Sigh. Gus and Pepper send nose bumps to little Two Face! ;) Rue

    Licks furnature

I don't think he's missing anything in his diet. Along with the couch, the chair, and the carpet, Gus loves to lick my slippers. Silly rabbits! ;) Rue

    Calm, relaxed breed of bunny?

Adults and babies usually get along just fine. It's when the baby starts becoming sexually mature that the fighting can start. That's why so many experienced rabbit people recommend getting a mature rabbit that's already been spayed/neutered. We took our male (a New Zealand cross--yes, he's...

    Calm, relaxed breed of bunny?

Either a Holland Lop or a Mini Lop. Hollands are smaller (usually around 2 lbs) and Mini Lops are bigger (usually 4-6 lbs). Our Pepper (good name!) is a Mini Lop. She weighs around 5.5 lbs. Hope that helps! Rue

Yay for perfect opportunities! He's so handsome! Beware letting him in your bed. Pretty soon it will be HIS bed! ;) Rue

Aw! So glad you found the little one! I've heard putting them next to your skin in your bra works well. Never tried it myself, though, as I've never had babies before! Hope that helps! Rue

    Moving House - tips?

Oh, I see. I've only ever bought two brands, Rubbermaid and the Superstore brand, and they were both exactly 14" square. As a side-note, I'll never buy the Superstore brand again. They're not painted metal, but plastic-coated. The plastic has broken down (UV exposure) and now they're...
