Hi,
I'm calling on thepros here- someone who has treated with chlor palm and panacur combined. To be frank I don't want guesses or uninformed opinions and please understand no offense is intended, I am justa very tired nurse with raw nerves right now. We were prescribed two broad spectrum drugs...
After all this time Einee is still being treated for her head tilt disease. We went from baytril (after her condition worsened) to azithromycin. After about 10 days I took her off the asithromycin as she was getting even worse...back to lying on her side with her head to the side and trying to...
Good Evening and thank you all so much for your input. My husband gave the injection tonight while I held her and it went very well. Helps that Einee is not HIS rabbit. Einee has responded very well to the baytril over the last week that she has been treated (starting with oral suspension and...
If not Baytril, then what to use??? In the meantime, still hoping someone out there can follow up on my queries regarding switching it to oral suspension or reinforcement on giving injections. Einee does not like the oral suspension and I do know that injections are easier on her, but of no...
Hi:My bunny (Einee) has a middle ear infection (head tilt) and has been improving in leaps and bounds over the past week - soon to resume a normal life I hope. She is 20 months old and was spayed last year. I had been treating her with a oral suspension but the new vet does not have baytril in...
Yes - read the policy AFTER stating my opinion and immediately posted a second reply. It just upset me to read about culling etc. I have no plans to battle with you
but happy to hear that your bunnies are well treated. That's all that matters to me.
Ouch! I'll take the bunny's side on this one. So you are in it for the money then. I'm in it to help the "culls" that are abused or unwanted. Currently housing about 15 "culls" and trust me - they are the lucky ones! Ever think about what you are doing and wonder if there's something wrong with...
Regarding spay and neuter - Yeah I know it's not cheap and the only thing I can think of is to check with your local SPCA to see if they could possibly help? It won't hurt to ask. Thanks for your comment.
Just one comment and please don't be offended. Regardless of where you house your bunny, if he is going to spend a lot of time alone PLEASE consider adopting two! They are companion animals. Don't forget to spay and neuter....for a happier healthier bunny.
Don't get me wrong - I'malso pro house bunnies! They really do have it good. My neighbour has one that lies between his dog and his cat and if you weren't paying attention you'd think he also was a cat stretched out there. It made me very happy to know he had such a perfect life!
Molly - Your bunnies have it good. I will send pictures in a few days. My setups are not pretty but the bunnies don't mind that one bit!
Does everyone spay and neuter? Mine are all fixed and they are healthier and happier for it. There are no worries of baby bunnies, and the ones that...
Very positivecomments Katmaisand it sounds like you are a kind bunny lover. My outdoor bunnies literally have pastures to roam about in during the day, and the smallest one is about 10' x 24' with a walk-in hutch that's about 4 x 7 (complete with LED lights around the door). I plan to enlarge...
