    Neutering / Bonding

I've seen multiple people bond giant breeds with dwarf breeds. To give he best chance of a successful bond I'd allow him at least 6 weeks for hormones to settle before trying to bond. This way he shouldn't be interested in mating with her at all. With her being unspayed, she's likely to be a...

    Welfare requirements for hutch size

So I'm just curious to find the difference between UK and US hutch size requirements. We follow RWAF guidelines (6ft x 2ft hutch with constant access to a 6ft x 8ft run). What is recommended in the US? Is it the same, smaller or bigger? Thanks :)

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

I'm not sure where you'd find them in the U.S. but a lot of people make their own runs in the UK using aviary panels and 16g wielded mesh. (Using 16g wielded mesh protects from predators if you want to leave unsupervised in the run) You can find it all on amazon but there might be cheaper places.

    changing litter box a lot????

It's the urine that'll smell most so removing just the wet patches should work.

My bunny is really aggressive please help!

I agree. Any type of physical harm to an animal is classed as abuse. It doesn't matter if the animal lunges at you etc, hitting it classes as abuse and will often encourage the behaviour as they'll act out in order to protect themselves. If bun isn't already neutered, this'll be a first step...

    treats!

If the treats are completely dry throughout (not soft when you push the middle) just let them cool then put them in the container.

    treats!

I made some treats today. They took around 3 hours to fully dry out. Just the dust collected from the bottom of their food bag, dust from the bottom of the hay bag and natural organic baby food. All mixed together, cut to shapes, and cooked at around 130degc for 1 hour, 90degc for 2 hours...

    English vs giant

The difference is fur type. A giant English has short fur, a giant angora has long, fluffy near on impossible hair. Size wise, they're the same.

Will Australian Virus to kill rabbits reach America? (2016 post)

Interesting stuff on here. I'm from the UK and we have confirmed cases of RHD2 killing all across the country. Our wild population has dropped dramatically and a lot of pets are being lost. A rescue lost a few kits, their mum survived. We're lucky enough that we have been able to import the...

    changing litter box a lot????

I've not read all the replies - but I used to have to change my girls litter tray twice a day - fully empty it and replace everything. The amount of hay and litter that would be wasted was incredible. I've since got one of these: I don't waste anywhere near as much and can spot clean the...

Can someone explain this for me?

Obviously the RWAF sizes are the UK ones - not sure if the USA uses smaller sizes for housing but the rabbit would have 24/7 access to the run.

    Home set ups

Well they are my babies. Although calling them my little fluffbutts seems to confuse people too.
