    Chives and sitters

I was away with my lovely for the weekend. I called my bud's sitter asking how he was and she said she just gave him chives. I cannot get home yet. I know these can cause blood abnormalities. Will I come home to a dead bun?

    Prefer breed?

Flemish Giant if you are a "bigger is better" type of person and want a "free roam" bunny.

    Harness Training

Well yes he would be in a large carrier. Thanks for the link!

3rd eyelid shows when eating treats

Yeah I was hoping otherwise but I picked him. Oh well. He might love me conditionally... but mine towards him will be unconditional.

    Harness Training

Hello! I have noticed whenever I look up other flemish giant rabbits online that they sometimes are shown wearing a harness and being walked on a leash. Anyone have any concerns with this idea? I like it because this will CERTAINLY come in handy for keeping him under better control when I...

3rd eyelid shows when eating treats

Thank you so much for the information! I had no idea that flemish giants could get such an issue.

3rd eyelid shows when eating treats

Donny (who I have had for 4 weeks now) has his 3rd eye lid peak out at VERY odd times. (Times that I really don't think are fear related). He will eat his normal pellet food with his eyes looking all normal. But when I give him one of his favorite herbs to eat OR a treat like a 2 inch carrot...

Difference in types of urine? (Odd title i know)

Yeah the problem is I still can't see his testicles. I got him from (i believe) an experienced breeder and the breeder said my bun is male. (Males were the only ones left unspoken for). Could he be a "late bloomer"?

Difference in types of urine? (Odd title i know)

Is there a difference between normal urine and hormonal urine? My young buck is almost 11 weeks old, his testies have not decended (from what I can tell) and today when I enterd my room (after not being in there for 40 minutes) a strooooong urine smell wacked me in the face. Did my bun mark...

    Greetings! Some help?

Good to know. I just checked my bun and there is nothing I can see yet. He isn't marking either. He's not litter trained yet though. He will only poop and pee strictly in his cage. He'll be out for play time and have to pee, so he goes to his cage and does his stuff. If that turns out to be the...

    Greetings! Some help?

Good to know! Already planned on getting him fixed. Got money saved and a vet picked out before I knew I was going to bring specificaly Donny home. Just need to wait for when the time comes. (I am not gonna breed him so why put him through hormonal suffering?)

    Greetings! Some help?

Hello! My rabbit's name is Donny and I am his mommy. (Haha). I have had this young buck for almost two weeks now and he is doing EXTREMELY well. He is 10 weeks old today and is a sandy colored Flemish Giant. He is a pet quality bunny that I got from a breeder. (Just wanted a pet bun for the...
