    Mounting...

I have a 3 year old female and 3 year old male and she has always mounted. Both are fixed. She's super dominant and they have been bonded for about a year and she still does it often. Especially when I am about to feed them.... But my male is really passive so he just lets her and when he has...

    Moldy hay?

So that sounds bad yes there was one moldy flake but the rest just looked dusty and I read to just throw the moldy flake out.

    Moldy hay?

When I first bought the bale and split it there was like a spider web mold on one flake in the middle so I threw that away and the few surrounding it. I looked at a video on YouTube and when I did this to the hay it looked like the clouds of mold spores shooting out. The video is below. There is...

    Moldy hay?

I bought a bale of hay about two months ago and I noticed it was super dusty but I didn't realize this was mold spores until now. I feel so guilty for feeding it to them for the past two months! They always ate it all so I really didn't notice a problem until I looked up dusty hay. How is this...

    Molar spurs

My bunny has had two separate cases of molar spurs the first was not bad just one slight one and then about three months later she didn't eat her pellets and I knew something was up. She had them really bad but as soon as they were taken care of she was back to eating! We adopted her and were...

    Liquid meds

Thank you for the tips everyone! She just licks the one med. So I think I'm sweet tasting then, but the pain meds are more bitter... I can smell them. The good thing is she is doing better and the pain meds are only for 5 days. It actually ended up being her teeth!

    Liquid meds

Long story short after a trip to the emergency vet and everything being ok now, I need to give my rabbit some liquid meds for GI and pain by syringe. She is very strong and will not even let me get her into a bunny burrito to give her the meds anymore. I have been putting it in banana and she...

    Bonding rabbits...hmmmm

Here's a new pic... I'm just so excited they bonded. I was pretty hopeless in the beginning.

    Bonding rabbits...hmmmm

They are fully bonded now! I originally had them in side by side pens and I would switch their dirty litter boxes so they could get used to each other's smell. I really didn't do it that much though. They are the large cat ones so they sit in it and eat hay, and when I put both of them in with...

    Newly bonded rabbits and eating

I tried and they wouldn't eat apart at all. So I had to put them back together so that they would eat. Once again though he seemed to totally take over but I'm going to hope that it gets better because now they won't even eat apart.

    Newly bonded rabbits and eating

My rabbits are pretty much bonded as they have been together for almost two days and no fighting so far after months of dating. However when I feed them ( two separate bowls) one seems to take over and pretty much eats both bowls! She seems like a slow eater and takes her time but he definitely...

    Bonding rabbits...hmmmm

Well he gave in and now they both groom each other! We are up to almost three hours, but I still don't feel comfortable leaving them alone because they both try to hump each other and it ends up creating a little circling game. Probably they would be fine but better safe than sorry! They were...
