Yes that is my guess. See I noticed she was often hot and I assumed it was because it was summer and she was big and fluffy. So in the two weeks before the anesthetic even I was having to put the fan on her to help her out a bit. One of those things we'll never know xx
It was incredibly difficult, now we're just giving Bubbles (the surviving bun!) a LOT of fuss and she is binkying around the house like a mad thing! :wiggle

Do you happen to have any other rabbits? My rex had this exact same problem.. turned out when they hump each other they like to have a good nibble too.. mines healed really fast and the hair is growing over nicely now.
Welcome to the world of having fluffy bunnies! This is very common, albeit not good. Sometimes it just can be too many greens. Try and get a warm cloth and rinse it off and you can trim the area to make it less prone to getting poo caught, but I would be very wary about using scissors down...
EDIT: I forgot to add that this morning just after I did ring the vet she did have one large soft poo, and I believe now she has done a few more normally-formed ones, but literally a little pile of about 10.. no where near enough though.
