We use a x-large x-pen as a house for our boy :) it works perfectly for us since he is not a jumper, therefore doesn't need a "roof"

    Men and their rabbits!

My hubby and cookie are best buddies! Ever since cookies enclosure was moved into my hubby's office and they spend every day all day together they have really bonded! Cookie gives the hubs way more kisses than me lol and he loves it! It's cute how I'll hear him talking to him throughout the day...

Should I allow her to graze on her food or just up the amount given?

If ur worried abt her weight but can't free feed because of her gorging on them. Try sprinkling oats in her hay! We do this with cookie. It's a good foraging activity and encourages more hay eating and he LOVES his oats :) it helps keep their weight up too :)

Should I allow her to graze on her food or just up the amount given?

For what it's worth we free feed cookie his pellets. He gets a HUGE bowl if various veggies every morning and lots of hay and he really just eats his pellets when he's hungry. He has managed his weight well. And every time I have tried to only give him a certain amount or remove the bowl for a...

    STOP CHEWING!!!!!!!!!!!

If boo isn't fixed the intensity and obsessiveness of it could be his hormones. Our boy was very focused and intense before he was fixed and really didn't respond well to correction. Now all we have to do is say "hey, no no" and he stops. Occasionally I need to clap my hands or stomp on the...

    Cardboard/paper egg cartons?

Cookie has a paper egg carton to play with... Our vet told us to put it in the freezer for 2 days prior to giving it to him to kill any possible bacteria. He doesn't have it in his room but down here in the living room as a foraging toy we poke holes in it and close it and hide yummy things in...

    Introducing new hay

Sometimes cookie picks through his hay for the little bits he wants at the moment. (we feed a mixed hay with leaves and such) but he always ends up going back later and eating the stuff he pushed aside at first. Maybe at that moment she just felt like some Timothy? And she'll eat the other later?
