Thank you Lizzy and Pani. Lizzy, life sure is different without him. He had pretty much free run of the tv room and my office (it was all rabbit-proofed) and it's so lonely not to see him hopping around, playing with his toilet paper tubes and paper bags.

Azerane, I'm sorry I didn't see your post. No, the vet couldn't see anything wrong with Barley's teeth. He said there was a slight spur on one molar so while he was sedated, he ground it down and touched up any other teeth that looked at all questionable, but the x-rays turned up nothing...

I'm heartbroken to say that I had my Barley put to sleep last night after wrestling with it all day. It was taking me an hour to get 2 tbsp. of CC into him, his eyes had got all infected, either from the stuff they stuck them shut with for his sedated examination or from his attempts to clean up...

Managed to get a couple tablespoons of CC into Barley last night before I went to bed which made me feel better, enough that I actually got about 5 hours of sleep! Took him back to the vet this morning and told him what was going on and he said they really had to put him through the wringer...
