I buy the standlee 50lb bag of Timothy hay. Since it’s super compressed there’s lots of crumbs and dust in it. Does anyone have a trick to sitting out this? I usually just take a handful and shake. It’s not super efficient so I’m trying to find a better hack

I love using wood pellets but I think it doesn’t control the smell as well as yesterday’s news. There could be other reasons like different food etc but I’m not a fan of pine smell either. But don’t get me wrong I love the wood pellets!

Thank you. I have a similar one but I didn’t think it worked well but this site suggests wetting it first. I’m gonna try that on the lionshead first then the baldy one when it’s been grown back and a brushing is really needed
