I believe it's not the most common thing to do with your bunny throughout Europe, but in the US it a routine procedure a lot of bunny owners do. It's not harmful to your pet in any way if that's what you're asking for.

I would also say that's one of the ways for her to say "I love you". Bunnies really like to feel close to us!

Hi Bill! The main difference between "treating" your hand with sanitizer and soap is that sanitizer "kills" bacteria, and soap "washes" them off. It's advised to use soap on your hands because it will wash away the dirt more effectively. Sanitizers kill up to 99.9% bacteria on our hands - but...
