Yeah, tawa's also pretty far - my mum took her guinea pig to PetVet in the Hutt, and was quite impressed, even though Bella didn't make it, she was happy with the way they treated her. So I took my sick rats there yesterday, and was also fairly impressed - dropped one of them off this morning...

I think because the conversation moved back to outdoor vs indoor, when the thread was meant to be for outdoor rabbit discussion only- not explaining WHY their rabbits live outdoors. I think it would be best if indoor rabbit owners only posted if they were planning on moving their rabbits...

Hey, have you tried Auckland Cavy Care? It's a guinea pig rescue, but they do take in the occasional rabbit. I'm not sure if they have an unbonded female right now, but you could check. Failing that, maybe you could take him on a play date with other, fixed, rabbits - males can get along too, so...

Ha, I believe that is actually a forum member's rabbit. It makes me smile every time I see it, too! No you aren't, little rabbit, but don't eat them all, or you might be!

Was your pen open? How did she get in it? It may be someone knew you had a rabbit, and decided to just leave her with you. If they didn't, it sounds like she came to you for help. :D I'll see if I know anyone looking for a rabbit. :)
