This is a update on cadbury. He went 3 weeks after 4-5 weeks of the injections we were pretty hopeful we had this beat but after 3 weeks he started the sneezing fit again now we put him back on the shots I’m sure by now he feels like a pin cushion 🥺. I did up two bottles to fill the syringes so not sure think that will give him close to two weeks worth . I asked the vet her honest opinion about it and she said stop injections for awhile which I opted not to do because he’s too congested I don’t want him to get so bad it affects his breathing I know how I feel with a snotty nose. Then she said that we may never get him better 😭 so I will need to think of something after the injections see if I can get a loan for the $800 MRI or just try the nebulizer treatments that his exotic vet recommended but this one said she wouldn’t so I’m at a crossroads. I love this bunny he’s my first ever and I feel so defeated for him .

I would honestly try the nebulizer to see if it helps. When I was first diagnosed with asthma when I was 6 I had a ton of congestion and mucus in my lungs. The nebulizer I used at the doctor’s office helped clear it out after a few rounds before they prescribed me with an inhaler.

Yeah I think that’s my only option I just pray I don’t kill him doing it vet said 1 out of 3 rabbits died doing nebulizer so idk

Geez, I didn’t know that. But it’s weird that your exotic vet recommended it and your current one doesn’t. I hope your bunny gets better regardless of which path you choose

Thank you so much me too . Well the other vet is a specialist not close by she said she would neuter and microchip him but my vet here close by said she wasn’t comfortable neutering at his age so she may not be comfortable with treating rabbits only just to a certain extent.
