I'm planning on picking up this little guy but unsure about the color. The breeder said it's Chesnut but it's light in color and almost close to orange? I've browse some pictures online and unsure if it's fawn, fox, or lynx lol. Any idea guys? How drastic will he change color later on after molting?

I'm pretty sure this is a Cinnamon. It's an unshowable color that is similar to a chestnut.
For reference, this is one of my chestnut Netherland Dwarfs;

Will my little guy's color stay the same or get darker and more resemble Chestnut overtime?

I got another video here, I think he leans more to the orange side?

I'm pretty sure cinnamon is lacking the dark brown under color that a chestnut would have.
They look pretty close to a chestnut when adults, but don't appear as dark. You can find a lot of cinnamon Netherland Dwarfs on FB pages for reference as well as Google.
Like @CrazyChickenGirl said, some chestnuts take a lighter color. Chestnuts to the standard are supposed to be a deep amber color. You see Eeyore takes a lighter amber.
I attached a picture of my best-coated chestnut, you can see how her color looks better than the rabbit from my last post.

This is my chestnut netherland dwarf. He’s molting:eek:

You can see the darker fur of the growing in fur that @dogwoodblossoms mentioned on his back. In summer, Min-Min’s fur looks more brown-orange while in the winter months his pelt takes on more of the darker brown- blackish in his coat (as you can see in my profile photo).

Looks to me like a Smutty Orange which is a showable color but being smutty it would be considered a minor color fault.
