Hello

Iam about to leave the country for good in a few months and I want to take my guy with me. He is almost three years unneutered boy. the problem is he gets scared from any thing and he not used to get out. where I live they didn't allow pets in the plane with me but in cargo compartment and iam worried he will die from fares.

Also the ride from home to airport takes two hours and a half and the flight take almost four hours so I didn't know how he will pass this process.

I don't have any experience in travelling in car or airplane and I definitely won't leave my bun behind so do you have any advices like training him for something before leaving or something like that?

Thanks.

The biggest thing when they aren't allowed in the cabin, is seasonal temperatures where you're coming from and traveling to. I know here in the US, airlines won't allow animals to travel in the cargo hold in the summer because of the hot temperatures. So that would be something to check on and make sure it will be safe when you'll be traveling. Rabbits are especially prone to overheating.

I would start training him to be comfortable going into the carrier you'll be using, then gradually increasing that time in there. Then maybe start taking short car trips to get him used to traveling in a car, and see how he does with that. And gradually increase the car trip time as he gets used to it.

Thank for mentioning the temperature cause the difference is pretty much high and I didn't count this because I was going to leave in winter.
