My bun is 5!

Hey y'all.
So my bun turned five in July, and from what I hear about mini rex rabbits, she's either middle aged, or old. Anyway, I was wanting to know what kind of changes any of your rabbits went through as they got older?
There's little bits of gray popping up on her fur, and her teeth have yellowed a bit. She doesn't binky and run around as much, (but you can tell she's still happy) she relaxes more.
Was this similar with your rabbits? Any other things I can expect while she ages?

Around 8 or 9 yrs old, I've had a few become less active because they're stiff and arthritic. Meloxicam helped. They also sleep more. Some developed more health issues like urinary incontinence, cataracts, spondylosis, thymoma.

5 really isn't that old for a mini rex. More middle aged. But they can start to slow down at that age too.

Oh your bunny is so adorable! I had a standard Rex that was grey like yours and he recently passed away. Things I noticed towards the end was yes fewer or no binkies, slower hops, hind leg appearing to fall asleep after laying in same position for a while, less chewing on hard objects like his log, and just laying around more in general. Hope this helps and good for you for staying on top of your bun's health!
