Hey guys, so I was sitting on the couch and I hear that my rabbit is biting down on something and I go check and he’s on top of the kitchen chairs under the dining table and he’s picking at a old piece of gum that was put under the table. He ate some of it but I’m not sure how big the gum was before he ingested it. Will he be fine as long as he eats hay and water? This rabbit ALWAYS gets a hold of everything. First it’s cat food and now gum. What great luck I have lol by the way he’s eating his hay right now.

Your rabbit is eating a ton of stuff, maybe you should bunny proof better.
Edit: Maybe thats the reason he had small poop, he is getting into too many things

I did, I said you should bunny proof better, of course you cant get everything. But everything thus far would be preventable, to make sure he doenst eat anything else bad, go around and see what your bunny can get to.

Louie is a troublemaker. My goodness. And I thought Xiao Wu was bad. 😂
I think the same applies, just making sure he's eating, pooping, and drinking normally. But I do recommend consulting a vet, as well, just to be sure.
Lmao right! I know it’s been only a few minutes from the time he ate it but he seems fine and he directly went to his poo station/hay station and he just ate a bit. He’s just laying down now licking his paws. Yeah, I have a vet I can definitely go to. Just it’s like maybe half an hour away or 40-50 minutes. Around there but I’m gonna make sure he has 24/7 access to water and hay. Are there any signs to look for just in case?

Hey guys, louie hasn’t pooped since I posted this and I’m not sure if I should be worried now.. I gave him some apple since I think I saw here on a thread that Apple can help rabbits poop. Aside from this he’s eating and drinking fine? He’s been eating hay all day.
Edit: He pooped! Nice normal poops 😍
