I just found loose poop everywhere in my buns cage, what causes that out of the blue. No new foods have been given,,does apple or pellets cause this? That's all they've had other than lettuce. Should I take everything away but hay??

It depends. If this is true diarrhea and the poop hasn't returned to normal round fecal balls and/or your rabbit is exhibiting some concerning abnormal behavior following having diarrhea, profuse watery or pudding like diarrhea is an emergency and you need to get your rabbit to the vet immediately.

If there are normal round fecal balls being produced now and your rabbits behavior is normal, it could possibly be the lettuce was off and caused some upset. Or if this is mushy cecotropes and not the fecal poop being runny, too many carbs/sugars in the diet, like from apples or excess pellets, and not enough fiber from hay are the most common cause of mushy cecotropes/cecal dysbiosis.

Her behavior is normal, and there's no vet available until Monday now, so I will just take everything away but hay for a bit and see what happens in a day or two.. Thanks

Can you post some pics? Apple and lettuce could cause it as well, sometimes. One of my rabbits had a few soft poos after having too many apple and was also long time no apples in her diet. But she was fine next day as she eats tons of hay.

This was very unusual for her because normally her poos are excellent.

I cleaned it all up so I can monitor if there's any more... I'm thinking it was too much apple.
So only hay for a day or two won't hurt? There's two buns and I'm pretty sure it's my female she's smaller and may have ate more than him...

Hay won't hurt definitely, in my case we ran out of pellets that evening because deliveries were late and we had to wait until Monday, expected on Friday, so I had to give something to get a few minutes for taking out her toilet since she is very territorial and doesn't like my hand in her space, so she's got a slice of an apple but ate too fast so I had to give another two, not big maybe 1/4 of an middle sized sweet apple in total, but still, she's a bit on a fat side so not getting fruit too often and was clearly too much for her. All my fault. Everybody's got some extra apple that evening 🙃

I just realized I gave extra cilantro yesterday and it says it can cause diarrhea, I had no idea too much would cause that.. Figured being green's, and they've eaten it many times, it wasn't a problem.. No more loose poops so far. And they are eating hay really well. I'm hoping all is good now.

No more loose stools for almost 24 hours now. Thank God , I am so glad it didn't end up worse. Thankyou for your help , jbun and zuppa for your advice. Very much appreciated.

If you're certain it's the greens, it's possible it might not be all greens but just select ones your rabbit is sensitive to. Another possibility is if you are introducing them into the diet too quickly. New foods like pellets and veggies, need a slow gradual introduction, starting one at a time with a very small amount to make sure no digestive upset occurs. Then only increasing gradually over a week or two, if that one food doesn't cause problems.

There hasn't been anything new, I've had them a year and a half. Thats the first this has ever happened, pretty sure she just made a piggy of herself with the cilantro. They've had it before, but not as much at once. Instead of their usual lettuce bowl in the evening I filled it with cilantro., since I had a lot in the fridge. (to use it up) She had some that morning as well.
She seems fine, eating hay as usual..

Too much cilantro at once when she wasn't used to that amount, does sound like the cause. I'm glad you got it figured out and she's doing fine. It's always a relief to figure out what's going on with them, and that it isn't something more serious.
