Hi. Welcome to the forum. Not really wise to post your phone number on a public forum like this. There is a section of the forum that may help find rabbit friends. Or you can try the local shelter.
Where can I find a forum that can help me find a female spayed bunny 6 months old or younger? Please, I'm having the most difficult time finding a female spayed bunny. Thank you, Joanne Crespi

True, posting yoour mobile number, or any other sensitive data, is usually not a great idea.

Many groups on Facebook deal with rehoming their pets, you could post your post there, better yet, go surf online and find some rabbit rescues near you, there are definetly some all over America. They will sometimes allow for you to take your boy with so that he could choose whom he might want to get along with.

Also, six months and neutered is quite young, how long ago was his surgery? It is commonly advised to postpone any new possible introductions to 8 weeks after surgery, for both genders, so that their hormones can settle and wounds can heal. Rushing it has yielded bad results.

Another thing is, that generally does get spayed at 6 months and after that, depending on the vets. Getting a spayed girl any younger than that is pretty much impossible. There is absolutely nothing wrong with getting a doe that is a bit older than that.

In terms of bonding though, they don't nescessarily have to be exactly the same age, and the doe sure can be older than the buck, and nothing will go wrong.

Good luck in searching for an additional family member!

Gainesville Rabbit Rescue in FL. You can email for suggestions if they aren't nearby. Plus Petfinder. And the link ArtistChibi gave to RO's Rescue listings.

Many rescues are _constantly getting contacted_ re: Numerous Abandoned rabbits. Or unwanteds. -- Rescues know the importance of sp/euter.

Thank you for wishing to find a bondmate for Sydney. And for being a bun parent!
