He has no say in that, time to learn to do it. I knee on the floor, with the rabbits rear between my knees and one hand on the face to keep him from going forward. For the back of the rabbit I turn it around so that he get stuck under me and stopped by my feet. Wear sturdy trousers you don't like much, and shoes.
Most important though: Always have a treat ready and give it right after you've done whatever had to be done. :)

Simethicone does nothing against fur buildup, and neither do any fruit juices. Since stringed poops come out and he's still eating stuff I doubt there's an actual problem there right now, but brushing a molting rabbit is a good idea.
I've tried before and he runs away .

The point is to not let him.

I see - it's more of an attitude issue. You do not try to do it - you do it. Period. Those little fluffballs can sense reluctance, and if they do they know they have the upper hand.

Oh, forgot to mention - slick flooring like vinyl helps a lot with the way I brush my (9-10lbs) rabbits. I don't pick them up because they are pretty miffed about it and would struggle.

Oh okay. He loves sitting on my couch and will sit there for hours could I try sitting him on there and brushing him? I've tried it before and it worked a bit , I have the hairbuster

He gets strawberries , banana , apple, carrot occasionally, lettuce , kale, herbs , celery , chard, Pak Choi and sometimes spinach .
What herbs you have on hand? Exclude sugary things, cabbages will give gas, kale etc so avoid, stick with romaine lettuce or any green/dark lettuce (except of Iceberg), rocket, coriander, mint would be great, thyme, chamomile, fresh grass, dandelions from your garden (if not sprayed with chemicals and not from lawnmower just cut with scissors), wash well and soak in water for a few mins before giving him, he needs water

Not got any herbs left , he's had fresh forage and grads before

Well done, brush him backwards you'll get more. also you can do it with your wet palms you'll get lots of hair that way too, go backwards as well.
I tried brushing him backwards didn't do much , maybe because I'd already mainly brushed him but the water helped

This is great, just keep brushing him to remove excess of hair as often as you can and make him eat and drink enough so he can form nice and round poos, hopefully it will improve slowly. Keep us updated :)
Okay thank you !
He was running around a little too!
