Every species is different and I've read a few different lengths of time. My male was neutered yesterday and we have a new girl in the house that will eventually be his companion. They are seperated but how long do they need to be? I've heard 2 to 6 weeks! That's a lot of variation. I am not planning in spaying the female.

Some will say 4 weeks is enough, and it sometimes can be if the female is spayed. But when attempting bonding with an unspayed female(just fyi, spaying is recommended), I've heard of accidental impregnation due to there still being viable sperm, occurring at 6 weeks. So to be really safe 8 weeks is absolute best.

I wasnt going to spay her because I'm a tech for my clinic, we see rabbits and do neuters but we aren't doing spays yet. If we do add rabbit spays I might but currently that's not an option. No one else even sees rabbits in my area. I'll wait 8 weeks. Thank all!

Just letting you know since it is quite possible that your female will refuse to bond. Her hormones could make her.... difficult.
