Hey guys, haru is a little bit better today, she’s eating veggies, pellets, and a little bit of hay, she also pooped. I don’t seem her unless I’m feeding her so I don’t know if she’s doing it all the time or only when she’s eating, but she’s been shaking her head, and just now she scratched both of her ears, she used to scratch her ears before, but not alot, and now I only saw her scratch them once, but she’s been shaking her head after every bite, when she finishes eating, I don’t see her shaking her head. Could this be eat mites that she caught from the vet? or is this normal?

I would say keep monitoring how much she scratches her ears.If it continues and you are sure that she has ear mites there are easy home remedies .
Eg: use any cooking oil and put 1 drop down each ear every day for 2 weeks, then stop for a week .After that put 1 drop in each ear every day for a week.(Sorry for bad explanation)
I tried this for my rabbit and it worked like a dream. Also the ears might get damaged due to excess scratching so check that.
Hope this helped!

She probably just got dust in her ears, it happens to Theo sometimes. If it continues for several hours then I would suspect ear mites, and you could treat them with Mineral Oil.

I’ve been watching her, and she’s only itching 4/5 times a day, but i put oil just in case, I’m only putting one drop of olive oil a day, is that enough? so now she isn’t itching alot but today when I was putting the oil, she moved and it got on her ear, like.. not inside, because the fur is long I couldn’t see it before, but there is a bald spot on her ear too, I’m confused now, she doesn’t itch alot, and the skin looks clear, so if it’s not ear mites, what could be the reason for these bald spots? It doesn't sound like she has ear mites so I would stop using the oil unless you see scabs on her inner ear. I don't know why she has a bald spot. Is she shedding?

I don’t think that that’s the reason, it’s been there for over a month, the spot that got oil on it.. do I clean it for her? it looks oily the same as the picture
